I saw that a new movie has been released this week called Love Guru. Mike Myers plays a guru from India. Way to go Hollywood! I guess they are still stuck in the 60s.

Tell me about it Apurva. And the weird thing is that this wasn't just "Brown Face" it was a white guy playing a white guy who "mimics" Indians and thus it is not only brown face by white-brown face!
apparently, the thought of even writing a brown character in the lead is repulsive to them...
